New Project in Guria and Kakheti region

SOS Children’s Villages Georgia launched implementation of a new project at the end of 2020. The main objective of the project is to support vulnerable children and their families and to strengthen local governmental and non-governmental organizations working in the area of child welfare in order to contribute to the improvement of the child protection system in Telavi and Ozurgeti Municipalities.
In the frames of the project, it is planned to cooperate with educational institutions of Telavi and Ozurgeti Municipalities for ensuring increase of awareness on child protection issues.
The project is implemented in partnership with the non-governmental organizations - Young Pedagogues’ Union and Kakheti Area Development Center.
The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) and Hermann Gmeiner Foundation
