Supporting the Development of Small Group Homes in Georgia
In 2013, with financial support from UNICEF (the United Nations Children’s Fund), a Mother and Child shelter service was established in Georgia. The purpose of the service is to provide temporary shelter and a range of support services to mothers (primarily young, single parents) and their children under the age of 10 who are at risk of family separation to strengthen their ability to function independently.

Enhancing Economic Security and Psychosocial Wellbeing of Vulnerable Families in Zugdidi
From 2013 to 2016, with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) & SOS Kinderdörfer weltweit, Hermann-Gmeiner-Fonds Deutschland e.V, SOS Children’s Village Georgia implemented the project “Enhancing Economic Security and Psychosocial Wellbeing of Vulnerable Families in Zugdidi.”

Economical and psychological stabilization of 230 families
From 2016 to 2019, with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) & SOS Kinderdörfer weltweit, Hermann-Gmeiner-Fonds Deutschland e.V, SOS Children’s Village Georgia implemented the project “Economical and psychological stabilization of 230 families.”

Promotion of healthy lifestyle in Ingiri, Zugdidi Municipality
In 2017, with financial support from the Austrian Ministry of Sports, the project “Promotion of healthy lifestyle in Ingiri, Zugdidi Municipality” was launched. The initiative focused on developing sports and play infrastructure—such as sports fields and playgrounds—in the village of Ingiri (Zugdidi Municipality), with the goal of promoting and strengthening healthy lifestyle habits among displaced children from Abkhazia living in the community

Economic and psycho-social strengthening of vulnerable families in Zugdidi District
From 2017 to 2019, with financial support from the Austrian Development Agency, SOS Children’s Villages Austria, and the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia, the project “Economic and psycho-social strengthening of vulnerable families in Zugdidi District” was implemented. The project aimed to assist socially vulnerable families to ensure that their children are raised and developed in a safe and caring environment

In 2018, with financial support from the German Federal Foreign Office and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), SOS Children’s Villages Georgia, in partnership with the Hermann Gmeiner Foundation Germany and World Vision Georgia, implemented the project “YES - Youth Empowerment for Success
